Several weeks ago Yarnell's shut down. :(
So in honor of the ice cream I stocked up on 5 of these containers several weeks ago.
Tonight was officially the last milk shake he'll ever have with Yarnell's.

WOW....Well, I know it has been almost 3 weeks but I've been VERY busy. Mary Helen Rose was born at 6:45 pm on March 30. It was a crazy delivery, but we made it. I'll share the details in my next post, but here is a picture right when she was born!

Still here....Week 40

Here is my 40 week photo. Yesterday we went to the Dr for a check up. We still are at square one basically. I have slight progress but no dilation as of yet. Right now I am scheduled to induce next week. We still hope she arrives before that time. Will see I guess.

This is a gift I got last week. It is a homemade diaper bag that matches my decor perfectly. We can't wait to use it.

The car seat base is also already installed. We are just waiting to place the car seat in. I also have all my bags packed in the car. We are pretty much set for her arrival.

This week I've been off for Spring Break. It has been so nice to just relax and enjoy a week off from work. As of now, I may go back a few days next week if she hasn't arrived. The more I work on the front end the longer I can take off on the back end. My plan is around 8 weeks. I will probably go back part time for a few weeks. Will see as we near the middle to end of May.

Hopefully my next post will be a picture of our sweet baby.

I keep thinking she has to be ready to enter the world, but she isn't even close!

At my appointment today I was the same as last week! :( Bummer! This means I haven't dilated a single drop yet! :(
I kept trying for anything and he said I might be a little more thinned. He was just saying that though because I was so bummed.

We talked about stripping membranes next week. Will see about that. He also wants to schedule an inducing date. Really just so that I don't go more than 41 weeks.

I'm disappointed but I realize she just isn't ready yet. Plus the longer she stays the healthier she'll be.

So tonight I gotta start walking some. I did for about 10 minutes last night. I guess every little bit helps right?

As of tomorrow we have 14 more days till our daughters due date.

Wow, I am just in complete shock over it. I mean we are ready but still. We are about to have a B-A-B-Y!

I feel pretty darn good. In fact, I can't complain really. Two nights ago I was up from 1:45-4:45. Couldn't sleep a wink. So I got up and proceeded to finish the remaining thank you notes I had (25). So I am caught up with that. I have one I need to write today though, I got a cute gift last night so I need to get that one done also.

So no sign of baby. I have had two checkups at the Dr. with minimal progress. I have thinned out some but that is all. I go back again tomorrow. I'm really hoping I have seen a little progression. I decided tonight is the night I start walking. I gotta get this baby moving.

I have honestly loved being pregnant. I can't complain about one thing. Morning sickness was minimal, I have slept pretty darn good the entire time, I haven't felt miserable these last 4-5 weeks etc.
My only complaint is I have gained so much weight and my body is so swollen all over. My feet literally look like hobbit feet. I'm not kidding either. I'm also not exaggerating.

On our agenda tonight:
Installing the car seat in the new car.
Walking!

Well, a couple of weeks ago right after it arrived she had a contest. Guess who won!

32 Weeks 5 Days

Pregnancy Highlights:
32 Weeks 5 Days!
7 Weeks 2 Days remain until her due date!
I'm 81.8% through this pregnancy.
I have 51 days remaining until my due date!
Mary Helen weighs around 4-4.5 lbs. She is around the size of a Honeydew (19 in, 4.5 lbs)

I feel pretty good. I can tell that things are getting near the end though. My energy level is dropping, I get winded walking across our campus, I am more restless at night while sleeping, my belly is making it harder to move, get still, get comfortable etc.
One thing new the last few weeks has been that baby girl seems to be laying or poking around my ribs on my right side. OUCH!
So far though I can't complain. I still have hobbit feet but that's not anything new for me.

Our letters for baby girl's wall should be in soon. I saw a preliminary photo today. They look fantastic. I can't wait to put them up. Hopefully no more than 2 weeks to get them to me!!!

Sweet Gift

Yesterday a lady from work stopped by my office to deliver this:It is a beautiful hand made blanket. The ladies mom actually made it. She told me that her mom is 80 years old and that this blanket would probably be her last one. Her mom has been having trouble seeing and these blankets haven't been easy on her eyes.
The detailing is so sweet. You can tell it took time.
I thought this was just about one of the sweetest gifts ever!

Our glider chair arrived!

Over the weekend we also picked up our glider chair! Woohoo. Remember this is what it looked like.

Here it is in the room! We did go with a slightly different chair. The arms are are a little different but for the most part everything is the same! We are really just waiting on some hand made wooden letters and then also some art work to finish up her room.

I love it and will be ordering more from her. Anyhow, I haven't gotten it yet but she is mailing it today. She put a sneak peak on facebook for me!!

31 Weeks

Today was my Dr.'s appointment. She is doing good. Doc found a HB and measured my belly. So far so good. I am still measuring 1 week early but I'm not putting much stock in that.

Here are the latest stats from the pregnancy:

Baby Mary Helen is 31 weeks, 0 Days.
I am currently 7 and 3/4 months along.
I have 9 weeks/42 days remaining until my due date.
I am 77.5% through this pregnancy.
She is currently the size of a head of lettuce still, except that she is weighing closer to 4 lbs. I didn't get an ultrasound today so I'm not certain how much she weighs right now. We go back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound.

So far I am feeling great! I have my first shower tomorrow. I also need to post another belly photo.

30 Weeks, 210 days, 70 Days remain

Wow, I am 30 weeks pregnant as of today. WOW, WOW, WOW. I can't believe how far along I am. This pregnancy is flying by. Here is a little info about what is going on:

Today I'm officially 30 weeks Pregnant.
I have been pregnant for 210 days.
I am 75% through this pregnancy so far, meaning I am well over halfway
70 days remain until baby girl should arrive.
In comparison to food she weighs around the same as a head of lettuce (3.2 lbs)
Last week I found out I passed my Gestational Diabetes Test! Woohoo for that
My Dr.'s appointments have begun to show more often. I go every 2 weeks now. In a month I'll get another ultrasound but for now we are just having check ups. My next appointment is a week from today.
Yesterday I started a registry at Babies R Us.
I have my first shower next week on January 20th. :)

Just a tidbit of info! If you are pregnant and have an iPhone. I love the app iPregnancy. It is awesome!

Wow, I am 29 Weeks 1 Day! Here is the latest shot plus a little info about what is going on with me right now in the pregnancy!

I am 29 Weeks and 1 Day
Baby is the size of a Butternut Squash
Yesterday at my appointment they guesstimated she weighed 3.1 lbs.
In case you missed it, we are having a girl! Her name is Mary Helen. We are using a double name, however, we decided recently to give her a middle name and we are currently trying to decide on that. We have narrowed it down to 2 options.
My sleep patterns have been great. I get a great nights sleep most nights so I'm very thankful for that.
The nursery is coming together and the shower process has began. I currently have 3 scheduled. Two in January and one in February.

The room is coming along

I'm going to wait to post pictures, but the room is coming together.

On Christmas Eve they called to say our furniture was in. So we headed to pick it up. The best part was the chest of drawers was already put together and the crib was rather simple.
So the room is set up so far with both of these items. Then today we went to purchase a few more items such as 2 lamps, a rug, curtains, a mattress pad for the bed and a few other little items.

I promise I'll post a picture, but we are waiting to get the bedding in.
My goal is to order it tomorrow. It says it will ship in 1-3 days so hopefully we will have it in 2 weeks or less. Our chair won't arrive for another 3 weeks though! :(

I'm off all week so we plan to continue working on the room and going to register at a few places.

Swatches Arrived

The swatches to the bedding I want arrived yesterday. I am almost certain this is it. The top part is the sheets and the bottom part is the comforter and dust ruffle. I still really like it. My goal is to order the first of January.

I'm still working on a few other things such as some block letter for baby girls room. I'm still trying to decide if I want to make them myself or order them. Will see.

Here is a picture of baby girl. She is doing good. She measured almost 3 lbs. YIKES, we might have a chunky thing on our hands. She is going great though. We tried and tried to get her to give us a good shot but it didn't work. This was one of her legs that we got. Best we could do!
I will be 27 weeks tomorrow.
I go back every 2 weeks now. Doc says one more week till the 3rd Tri. Whatever. I have pretty much made it. Some reports say this week, but it doesn't matter to me. I'm just happy to of made it this far without any complications.

I hope to take a photo of our Christmas card tonight so I can post that. I just keep forgetting.

Just a few more days

Wow, even though this is my last week of work for a few weeks, it is still rather busy.
All the holiday parties are winding down. I of course still have family stuff and two birthdays but other than that, life seems to be slowing down. Yesterday all I did was go to church. The remainder of the day I spent laying on the couch, snoozing and resting. Man was it good.

This week though I have the following on my agenda:
Monday: I work a normal day today and then I must begin wrapping presents. I have all of them bought but I must get some things wrapped.

Tuesday: Work. We also have another Dr.'s appointment. We will be measuring baby again. I'm scared to step on the scale, but excited to see our little girl. She's been very active the last few weeks. We might just have a future dancer or soccer player on our hands! Then Tuesday night we are having dinner with friends. More on that later.

Wednesday: My last day of work I hope. I plan on taking Thursday off but I haven't officially told them yet. I must do that today! Then that night the husband and I have plans to have dinner and see True Grit. Thursday is the hubs birthday so we are celebrating Wednesday night due to our Thursday plans.

Thursday: The husbands birthday and Christmas/Birthday Party and my inlaws.

Friday: Christmas Eve and I have lots to do. Cooking at my moms, playing with my little nephew who is almost 3 months old, attending my dads Christmas Eve musical at his church and our traditional taco dinner feast at my moms afterwards.

Saturday: Christmas at my mom and dads! It usually turns into an all day affair. We start with breakfast, then presents, then lunch, etc. With a family of 5 siblings plus 5 grandkids it can take a few hours to unwrap gifts. We love it that way though.

Sunday: REST! Maybe hitting up a few half off sales.

All the while, we plan on working on the new baby's room over the break. Yesterday we did a little shopping for curtains, a new rug and a few other items. So far we haven't found exactly what we wanted so we decided to wait on that.

I'm sure I'll come back with an updated post from the Dr and a few other things but if not, Merry Christmas!

Officially purchased a few big baby items

So the last few weeks the husband and even my mom have spent several hours looking at multiple locations for baby furniture. We've even gone multiple places 2 or 3 times to look.

Anyhow, I was beginning to feel slightly frustrated because for one I couldn't find anything in person and two the black cribs are few and far between.

So here is the crib and dresser we finally found. In the end we went with the Espresso color because I couldn't find a black crib/dresser I liked. So here is what we bought from Babies R Us. So this week a friend of mine recommended a glider chair to me. She bought one when her son was born so I thought I would at least check it out. Can't hurt. I found it online and literally jumped for joy. It was the first glider I had seen that I actually LIKE. I mean I have liked others but not this kind of like. So, I found a dealer in the town over from us and BAM, hubs is going today to buy it! Will take 4-6 weeks though to arrive. Oh well, that is purchased and MIL bought it. Even better! So here it is:

So I am very excited to have these items purchased! All we do now is wait on them to arrive. Husband took off the week after Christmas so we have big plans to work on some assembly of a few of these.

99 Days and counting

Well as of today baby girl should be here in around 99 days!

Today I started making a "To-Do" list. I feel like I need to begin scratching things now. I mean I've already listed 20 items on it and that took all of about 2-3 min.

Yes, I am a list maker. Without my lists to check off I'll forget so many things.

This week is almost half over meaning my busy week is almost half over. I'm grateful for that. Tomorrow is my only free day this week and we are heading to dinner with my sister and BIL and then doing a little more glider looking. Still trying to narrow down all my decisions before registering begins.

My first shower isn't scheduled yet, but we are currently working on a few dates. Wow, this baby is gonna be here before I know it. It is scary and exciting all at the same time.

Today I also requested a few samples of the bedding I think I'm purchasing. I hope I like it when it arrives! If I do, I'm planning on purchasing it ASAP.
I want it here so I can begin putting this room together.

Tomorrow I'll be 26 weeks.

Odds and Ends

So this is a really random blog post today so I think I'll do bullet points:

My Christmas Shopping is complete. I lack donating a little money but for the most part I am FINISHED! All I need to do now is wrap those suckers and I'll be ready for the 25th.
I worked Bethlehem again last night. I am pooped. This weekend though I am busy too. Helping my sister, attending a shower, then making cookies for our small group project, etc. Shew, it'll be a busy one.
Next week I work at least 5 nights. Man, I hope I make it. If I can just make it to December 19 I am pretty much smooth sailing till Winter Break.
Baby Girl is doing great. She is growing. In fact, she weighs around 2 lbs now. She is around the size of an eggplant. Seems crazy that all of a sudden we are growing bigger and bigger. Including my stomach.
I am planning on taking some photos. I just need to find the time to do it. Plus look cute, plus have the hubby home so he can take it, etc. etc. etc.
Only 9 more working days and my vacation begins. So looking forward to being off and at home!
I think my sinuses are officially worked up. They have been off and on all year. I think I've been to the Dr maybe 3 times with a sinus infection. I need to go now but I'm just avoiding it. It is enough to be annoying, but honestly with being pregnant, I don't really want to take anything for it. I'm just hoping it will eventually go away. Ha!
I think that is all for now......

Bethlehem Begins Tonight

Tonight is the annual Bethlehem Revisited at church.

Last year I worked in the candle shop and this year I am doing the same.

The hubs is taking part in some of the drama and this year he is a wise man. Last year he was a Shepherd. Anyhow, everyone should see this at least once.

As I'm typing this, baby girl is moving and kicking all around.

Hubs felt the baby move

Last week we were watching the Bball HOGS on TV. We were watching and baby girl was very active. So I told the hubs to put his hand on my belly. Sure enough he felt her move. What a moment. So neat. We both commented how funny it was that he felt her move for the first time during a Razorback Game!

Speaking of Razorbacks. They made it to a BCS game! Woohoo. The Razorbacks are taking on Ohio State at the Sugar Bowl in January. Woo Pig!

Things are going good, I'm just staying SUPER busy right now. I worked 3 nights last week and this week I work at least that if not more. It will be worth it in a few weeks. I just gotta make it to vacation!

Yesterday leaving Sunday School I fell. Man did it really hurt my pride. I was so embarrassed. I wasn't hurt, I went right down on my knees, so baby wasn't hurt at all. It just hurt my pride. When we left church I was telling the husband about it and I all of a sudden busted in tears. I guess it is hormones but gee, I cried all the way home. Then cried again when I told my mom about it. Needless to say, I think part of my problem was exhaustion.
I went home and took a 2 hour nap.

25 weeks on Wednesday......I'm almost to the 3rd Tri! Woohoo!

24 Weeks, Vacation, Holiday, Christening and Baby's Room

Shew, yes, I have a giant title because I have so many things to cover.

First of all, I hit 24 weeks tomorrow. Hello 6 months! We had a Dr.'s appointment last week and baby is doing good. He confirmed again it was a girl. He said his % was even higher than 90 this time. So now I feel better about buying her stuff. I have another appointment right before Christmas. I still can't believe I am this far along already.

The belly comments have started coming. I knew they would but I keep hearing them more often these days.

Vacation was good but I spent too much time traveling and no time resting. We painted the nursery, went out of town for a few days, then out of town for Thanksgiving, then I flew to Houston for a christening, then drove home! Shew. Busy, busy, busy. I'm already thinking that Christmas Vacation will be spent AT HOME!

Here is a picture of the finished baby's room. Yes we went with RED and Yes it was ALL MY IDEA. Husband agreed but it wasn't due to the Razorbacks. I've always been a fan of red. More pics to come once we have furniture and bedding.

Here are a few pictures from the christening! I am now the godmother to my nephew Jax. Yes, that is an honor. We aren't Catholic but my sister's husband and family are. I was honored to be asked. The holiday was just the same as always. Lunch at MIL's. This year we celebrated 2 weeks early at my moms due to baby christening and my parents going out of town. It worked out fine.

Oh and last but not least. On the way home from the christening I got the stomach virus! Booo! It wasn't fun! That was Sunday and today is the first day I've actually eaten something outside of rice or crackers.

I've decided I need a vacation from my vacation.

21 weeks

So I hit 21 weeks yesterday. It is crazy how fast the baby is growing. We were the size of a banana last week and this week...Spaghetti Squash. EEK, I bet she gained several ounces this week. On average our baby weighs around 1 lb now. Crazy. I read something the other day that said go to Walmart and pick up a 1 lb bag of powdered sugar I think it said and that was equivalent to how much the baby currently weighed. Ahhh. I'm trying it tonight when I go grocery shopping.

I took a photo a few weeks ago when I was a little over 19 weeks. It isn't a great photo, but it gives you an idea that I am growing!! This is it:

This weekend I am heading out of town for a big shopping weekend to celebrate a birthday of a friend of mine. I have gone and printed off several coupons for some stores such as Gap, Carters, etc. I'm hoping to do a little clearance shopping for baby girl this summer. Will see how that goes. Momma could use another pair of maternity jeans but other than that I am ok on stuff. May buy a few Christmas presents if I see something.
Mostly I'm just going for fun!!! We plan on eating at Cantina Laredo...YUM! They have the best homemade guacamole EVER! Plus I love the tortilla soup they have.

Only 6 more days of work and I'm off for an entire week. We get the entire week of Thanksgiving here. I love it and can't wait to have my first ENTIRE week off! I love working for a college!
In a few more weeks I'll turn around again and get almost 2 weeks off! Woohoo! Can't wait.

So my house is in desperate need of some attention. My bedroom and closet are my big projects this weekend. I am actually looking forward to tackling those. I am also going to do some sweeping and mopping. Man I can't wait.

No big Halloween plans for us. As a child I didn't celebrate so I have pretty much just carried that on since being married. We are going to a church gathering Sunday night but that is all.

So I started my Christmas Shopping this week! I have almost finished 4 gifts. Woohoo! 3 are finished and I'm still waiting on one other thing to finish off gift #4. I can't wait to have that behind me. Then several days ago I picked out my stamp from Stampin Up for my homemade Christmas Cards. Then I even hit up Hobby Lobby during the 50% off paper sale. I bought all my paper and then (Best Part) took it over to a local printing shop and they cut the sizes I needed in the paper!!! Oh man, my sister turned me on to this last year and I love it! Another thing is it only cost me $2.50 to have over 100 sheet of paper cut into 3 different sizes!
So paper is bought, cut and half of it glued. Other half will be glued once I stamp it.
Shew, I'm glad to have that much accomplished already. I'll post pictures of the card once I'm finished. This year I've cut my list down to 60. I normally send out 80-90.

Baby Girl is doing good. Last night was the first night I've "really" felt any movement! It was neat. Daniel tried to come over and feel too, but I think it's too soon for that! He said he is ready for her to start kicking. NICE!!!

19 Weeks

Today I am 19 weeks. That means I am almost half way to having this baby. WOW, I've got tons of stuff to do.

We haven't even started the babies room yet. We have it cleaned out, but I've got to repaint, order furniture, find bedding, etc.

So this is a glance at what I like. The only change will be Red trim instead of pink.
I keep trying to post the picture of it, but it only shows mostly the bed so you'll have to click on the link above.

We also got our results back from our quad screening. Everything came out negative! Thank you God for answering our prayers.

We are having a girl! Our Dr. confirmed today at my 18 week appointment. He said he was 90% certain! I sure hope so.

I like PINK but we plan on doing lots of red instead.

We are still not 100% on the name yet. We think we are, so I'll share that sooner or later.

We are just happy that she looked healthy and that she is measuring at the right places!

17 weeks 5 days

So I hit 17 weeks last Wednesday. My blogging skills are obviously not top priority right now.

We've had a very busy few weeks at work and I'm not sure when it will slow down.

Wednesday I hit 18 weeks and on Friday we are finding out the sex of the baby.
We've been waiting for this since the day we found out. Honestly I look back and think it took forever to get here, but honestly is hasn't been that bad.
We are so excited to see and hear what this baby will be. Very excited can you tell.
On Friday I plan on taking another photo of myself, so I'll post the good news along with a photo soon!

I am also excited that Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! I love this time of year!!!

Garage Sale plus hog game

Shew, what a busy week I have had.

Went to next town over twice this week to visit new baby. Didn't take anymore photos last night though.
Then my grandmother isn't doing good and was put in the hospital. Looks like she'll be okay but still.
Then, tomorrow is the big garage sale. When I say big, I mean big for us, but tiny for most. I have a few furniture pieces, books, decorator items, scrapbooking stuff etc, but that is it.
I'm hoping they all sale. I have already sold one item and someone else told me they wanted another one of my items. WOOT!! I love to sale stuff to people!! Especially when it means decluttering my house!!

This is our first big step in getting the babies room ready. We knew we had to get rid of stuff first so we've been cleaning out and putting things in a "garage sale stack". The next big step is having the sale. Once that is over we have some cleaning of the room we want to do such as vacuuming, cleaning baseboards etc.

We decided we wouldn't paint the room. Our house is painted all neutral colors and we opted to leave it that way for resale purposes. So once the room is clean we are ready to begin our search for baby stuff!

I turned 16 weeks on Wed. I feel pretty good. Just ready for 2 weeks from today! I should know the sex!! Can't wait for that!

Oh and the Hog game is this weekend! We are playing TX A&M in Dallas. It is on TV so on Saturday at 2:30 I'll be watching the game and probably snoozing from the early morning garage sale! Go Hogs!

So I've been tracking my pregnancy size based on the size of food. Yes, I know, crazy.

Anyhow, I visit two sites for this. One is always ahead of the other so I never really know exactly what size I am.

This week we are the size of an orange and an avocado. YUM, both sound good. Ha!

I am feeling pretty darn good. Last night I hit up Old Navy because sale stuff is an additional 30% off. WOOT for that, I picked up 2 maternity sweaters. I think I may go back at lunch for another one. They are too cute to pass up and they were only $10. I love a good steal.

Tonight the Conway Wampus Cats which are 4-0 are taking on North Little Rock. Woot for High School Football! I think I'm going to the game. Haven't officially decided yet.

Tomorrow though the hubs and I have a birthday party to attend and dinner with friends. NOTHING ELSE!!! I love off weekends! We are also preparing for a garage sale next Saturday so I'm sure we'll do a little of that this weekend.

I am promising from here on out more belly photos. I need to do it for my future child. I don't want he or she to have no pictures of mommy carrying baby!

Little Rock Game=Miserable

I snatched a photo while at the game Saturday. I was actually under
the bleachers trying to cool off. It was so hot and the sun was
blazing on us. Not too mention we sat by the students. It was crowded
and some of them had been partaking in a few etc. It was just not fun!
Oh and someone threw up by me. Hello I am very sensitive to smells
these days.
Again. MISERABLE!!

As for baby news. I hit 13 weeks today!!
Next Dr appointment is on Friday. Woohoo!

Consignment Sale)
I was looking for furniture but instead I purchased 3 maternity outfits.
I am going back tonight for the half price sale. Hoping to score a few
more maternity items.

That was a prune. That is the current size of our little baby at 10
weeks!

We went from a poppy seed to blueberries and raspberries to olives and
now we are the size of a prune!!

Long time. No post!

As I type this I am enjoying some nice cherries. Yum!

This weekend the hubs and I went to St. Louis to see the Cards play!
Fun times. We also went to the Zoo. They have a great zoo. Makes LR
look even worse.

I am pretty wiped out today. In fact I'm looking forward to going home
and crashing. Gor the last 2 weeks I've been doing early morning
workouts. Needless to say this morning I didn't get it done but I hope
to resume tomorrow.

The new job is going great. I am loving the short commute.
I am trying hard to get my office decorated. School starts in 2 weeks
or so. I really hope to have it finished by then.

I'm off to finish these cherries.

Got hit yesterday

As I was leaving my house at lunch a giant 16 wheeler truck that I was
behind decided to back up because he wasn't going to clear the curb.
The fork lift on the back of his truck got me. Luckly it was the fork
lifts tire that did the damage.

Normally I don't drive the jeep but with the new job it is my only
option. The hubs was a little sad I think. This is his baby.

The good news is we should be able to get it fixed without us paying a
thing.

New job is going great!

I am beginning to understand my job as each day progresses. Not that I
didn't know what I would be doing, but figuring out the process.

I am loving the schedule! I wake up about 6:00 or 6:15 and I read my
bible, eat breakfast, put on a load of laundry, etc. This morning I
worked out at home!
Tomorrow I'm thinking I might even try and run.

Yesterday I ran errands at lunch and today I came home and prepped
dinner.
WOW! I feel so productive with the new job schedule!

My first event to help with is Friday! Wish me luck.

Last Day

Well, I finally made it. Today is my last day on the job. When I gave my notice 7 weeks ago, I had no idea it would fly by like it has.

I am still in awe that today is the final day of work. I have been here 5 years, so it is sort of an investment I've made. It will be a little sad to leave, but I am super excited about the next job I'm taking.

This weekend we didn't do much. It was so wonderful to sit and relax.

As for WW news. I am still counting points and honestly doing really well. I am excited about that. I'm still eating tons of fruit and some veggies. I wish I was better at the veggies, but the fruit has been so good, that I would rather eat it than anything. I am way exceeding the 5 a day requirements so that can't be a bad thing.
I am almost certain I am going to join WW again. Actually, I am a lifetimer so I'm actually just going to start attending meetings again. I am up some from my goal, so they might make me pay. When I say up, I am up maybe 4 lbs from my goal weight. When I set my goal weight back several years ago, I did it on the high end so I would have a little wiggle room. That can have its good and bad to it. I do still work for them though, so they may not make me pay. Will see when I go. I just need that scale accountability. I seem to really succeed when I have that. At least I have the last 2 times I've gone to meetings and weighed in.
First time I did WW I lost about 30 lbs. I quit and did it on my own. We all know what eventually happened. I gained 15 of it back.
Second time I joined, I lost the 15 plus about 10 more.
Both times I went and weighed in and most of the time stayed for the meeting. I saw HUGE success with that.
So, I'm going to give that a go. I really want to drop about 20 lbs again. That will get me comfortably back to what I want to be.

With my new job being in the same town I work, I should have more time for early morning workouts. I'm actually looking forward to getting some working out in before work. Meaning free time at night!! WOW, that is going to be so nice!

So tomorrow the hubs and I are headed to South Carolina. We are going to a conference again. We enjoy that, so we are headed out tomorrow morning.
I will probably check in a few times from the road. Might keep me accountable to eat good while gone.

Next time I'll post I will be an employee of a new company.....Excited!!!

Last full week

Vacation was great. Blogging from my phone was great and worked so much better than uploading pics to facebook. It takes forever to upload pictures to facebook via your phone! I finally gave up on that and just blogged.

As you can see, we saw many things. I think my favorite was Grand Canyon and honestly my least favorite was Vegas. I decided I'm just not a big fan of Vegas. I'm glad we went though. We stayed at NY NY and it was nice, clean, updated and overall not crowded at all!
Would stay at that place again if we go back.
The only other downfall was we did so much driving that it wasn't all that relaxing. We also crammed a zillion things in 1 week!!! Again, I am glad I got to see a few things I've never seen before. With kids in our near future, trips like that probably won't happen for a while. I am glad we went ahead and did it.

I have entered my last full week of work. I am excited about the new job. I officially begin on July 12, so I still have about 2 weeks.
This week though I am finishing up a few projects, trying to clean up, save work, create a manual etc. It is going smoothly so far. I think they are just now realizing that my last day is fast approaching.

I am back on the eating wagon. WOW, my clothes are miserable. From all the pictures I guess you gathered we like to eat. I was okay with it. I was on vacation.
I'm paying for it now, but I'm drinking tons of water. I'm also trying to eat tons of fruits and veggies. One they are in season and taste good and two, they are low in cals and good for me in many ways. I've also been drinking this. It has a serving of fruits and veggies. Plus it is stocked full of good for you vitamins:

Just to recap a few other things that I've been dealing with:
1. I got a SEVERE sinus infection while on vacation and was miserable during half of it. We ran into town on Friday so I could go to the Dr. I got me some meds and I'm beginning to feel better. I have yucky congestion and that junk in my throat. I hope my super duper mucinex will start working!

2. Before we left for vacation I was having a tooth ache, so I went to the dentist. He told me I was going to need a root canal. He helped with the pain and sent me on my way. He gave me an antibiotic and some hydrocodone for the pain. I took the hydrocodone that night and went to bed. I woke up at 3 and took another one because I was afraid the pain would be out of hand. When I woke up I was still drunk on hydrocodone. Lets just say that drive in was interesting. Hubs drove me, but man I was so out of it for 3-4 hours after getting to work. I figured I would stick to Advil for the remainder of the time. We laugh at it now, but man, I didn't like how it made me feel. So fast forward to yesterday, I went in for the root canal and it was miserable!!! Seriously, they totally had my mouth WIDE open for an hour and they used tools/instruments/shields to keep it open. I couldn't swallow good due to #1 and that gunk in my throat. Plus my nose still isn't up to par with the sinus infection so it made breathing tricky. Especially when someone is digging in your mouth for an hour! Lets just say that hour was awful.
I was glad when it was finally over. Tomorrow I head to get a crown for the tooth. This tooth by the way is costing me some MOO-LA-LA! UGH!

Anyhow, I am rambling here!

We drove about 670 miles in 9 hours and 15 minutes. We literally drove
and stopped only a few times. We were so ready to get home. So, 3,542
miles later we arrived safe and sound back to AR.

We took this a few minutes ago. We are on our way home. Day 2 of the
journey home.

Yesterday we stopped in ABQ to see a friend of mine. She took us to
some authentic New Mecican and to look at the older part of town.

Last night we decided to try and get to Tucumcari. Boy we were tired
but pressed on. We arrived in Tucumvari about 11:45 and woke up at
5:00 this morning to proceed on.

As you can imagine we are wiped.

We are trying to get back home by 4!
