Down, Down, Down

I'm down 3 lbs! Hot Diggity Dog! So pleased with this weeks results.

Life has been busy this week. I've had things going on each night this week.

I'm still walking and still training for the half. So far so good. I do think that walking is more challenging. It's harder I think. You really have to keep up the momentum, and not only that but you have to go for a longer time period.
It'll be a nice change though.
My exercise paid off last week so I'm happy for that.

I started a bible study on Tuesday with some girls. We're studying Captivating. I don't know much about it, just that I need to catch up on chapters 1-3. Last night we did chapter 4. Seems like a great study and a great time with girlfriends. I'm hoping I'll be able to branch out and meet some new christian girls. We'll see.

Tonight is church and dinner with my dad.

I haven't posted this, but next week my grandmother "MeMe" is moving to AR. SO excited! Can't wait.

I gotta run...Be back to post more later!

First long training walk accomplished

This morning I headed out for 6 miles. I did it in 1 hour 37 minutes, however when I got back out to see how far I'd gone I had done 7 miles almost. WOOHOO!

I am feeling great too! I am lovin the back on track back in exercise mode!

I weighed in Wednesday for the starting of the challenge for PNP! I was 166.6. Depressing, however I'm workin on it. I'm gonna be back to 145-150. It may take me till Christmas but I'll do it.

Last night we had dinner with friends....we had a great time and tonight I'm heading out with some high school girlfriends for dinner and chit chat. I'm having a very social weekend.

Have a good weekend friends!

Give it up

I've had a great day.

I tracked everything in my nifty little online journal. I'm still getting used to the online journal, but it is working. I stayed within my little points allowance. Success!

Today I worked a WW meeting. I told the group I was coming back to WW. I've never really left, but I have done several different programs. All the while, I never know why I do that. WW is really the only one that works for me. Anyhow, I told them I was joining our online version. That I needed double the countability. I was trying to sell the program I guess. Of course I also told them they needed the accountability with meetings as well.
I typed up a great little fruits and veggies cheat sheet for each one. I gave them points values and serving sizes. This month the meeting guide is focusing on fruits and veggies. I think they'll use it. I know I will!

I also went over to the walking trail tonight. WOOT. I got a great workout in. The weather in AR is unbelievable right now. Cool and pleasant. It's still sticky and I'm still sweaty, but the difference is huge in comparison!

This weekend I have something every night!
Friday we have dinner plans with friends, Saturday I have a high school get together with some girlfriends and Sunday is packed with church festivities. Man, I'm gonna be busy! I love busy weekends.

I guess I'm off to shower....I feel nasty after my workout.

I joined...

Weight Watchers Online Today.

I need a good tracking system. I do okay at journaling my food on paper, but then I stop and you know what happens then. I start getting lazy, stop tracking to the T, etc, etc.

It was cheap! $16.99 a month or something like that.

Another reason I did it was because I really need to drop 10-15 lbs. My weight has creeped up like I mentioned yesterday. I really want to get back down to the 145-150 range. I can do it. I saw a "skinny" picture of me 2 weeks ago, and honestly, I haven't seen that me in probably 2 years...I just need to drop this weight. We're hoping to start our family this year so I REALLY need to get this weight off.

Oh, and I joined the challenge at PNP. It costs $10.00 to enter, but the biggie is the winner take home CASHOLA! Sweet! Nothing like a little reward to help keep me motivated.

I started tracking today, and I even got in some good exercise tonight. The weather in AR is so unusual for July. It is normally 100 degrees and miserable. The temps today were low to mid 70's and rain. This afternoon it warmed up, but it was very tolerable, so I headed out for some exercise.

Day 2 of journaling on my blog...WOW, I'm on a roll!

I'm back!

I doubt I have many followers anymore, but I'm coming back to the blog world.

Since the marathon I've just had tons going on. I celebrated my 31st birthday, my 7th wedding anniversary, been on several mini vacations and worked.

I've had a crazy year at work. Seriously, I took on more responsibility last fall and I'm paying for it.
Hopefully things in the work department are going to change.

Life for me must get back to regular exercise and regular eating. I've been all over the map in both areas.

New challenges are kicking off at PNP so I'm ready to start exercising on a routine basis and eating back like I need. I've put on 10 lbs since the marathon and I can totally tell. My clothes are miserable. It is time! Past time!

This last weekend my husband and I went to a conference. It was so wonderful. We learned about God, Prayer, etc. etc. It was such a refreshing time. My Christian Life is growing and I'm loving seeing how God is working in mine and my husbands life.

So here I am, back at it.

I'm making a pact to blog again. I think I lost some of my motivation when I quit. I'm back at it though. Hopefully some of my bloggers will come back to me. I sure hope! If not, surely I'll find more along the way.

I'm off to get my hair done, then tomorrow I'm back at work for a while. Although the hubs is trying to get me to go back to Destin again. I would love too, but I don't know if we can honestly find the time! Other than that, you should see me more! I promise!

Oh and I gotta start training for my half marathon. It's October 24!
